Miriam Works

Principal Miriam Works is a native of Seattle WA with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. Early retail experience included gigs selling jewelry at the Pike Place Market and hawking newspapers on Seattle’s ferry dock. Her multidisciplinary education in arts education and broad experience working with entrepreneurial businesses results in her emphasis on integrating practical business skills into creative endeavors. Miriam served as buyer/manager for Seattle legend La Tienda-Folk Art Gallery and twelve years as Assistant Director for noted retail powerhouse FireWorks before launching Works Consulting in 1993. With over seventeen years consulting with museum, healthcare and specialty stores, Miriam brings a real world understanding of retail and a consistent focus on end results to your project.
